Looking for Kingman memorabilia! My office is in an old warehouse building in OKC. It used to house the Kingman Plow Company. We are renovating and would like to include some implements, tractor seats, or other artifacts in our decor. We are particularly interested in anything that has the Kingman seal on it, especially if it is a raised (3D) design. We are interested in purchasing or even just taking a scan of the item if you don"t want to part with it.

Hi:
I collect Kingman items. I live about 1 mile from where Martin Kingman was born & raised and attended Kingman grade school in Peoria, IL for 3 years. Have photos of his gravesite and his old factory in Peoria. Have been given a tour of his old mansion on Perry Street in Peoria. I am trying to restore the abandoned cemetery where his mother is buried here in Deer Creek Twp, Tazewell Co., Illinois. Have numerous tools and catalogs from the company and his life's history. Also have a 2 row horse drawn corn planter with cast seed box lids with Kingman in the castings (needs restored). Also several seats etc. Have photos of china etc. from the Kingman family a friend of mine owns. I hope to put together a history one day. I can send you pics if interested. Nothing is for sale however. Thanks. Rich Brehmer

Hello Mr. Brehmer, and thank you for your response! We are very excited and hope that you can help us out. We have a specific item we are looking for particularly a Kingman Seal. We found one on an ashtray, which you can see at this web address : http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1910-adv-ashtray-kingman-moore-172878916
But, unfortunately cannot get a hold of the buyer or seller.

Do you happen to have anything of the sort in your magnificent arsenal of Kingman Memorabilia?

Thank you so much for your attention. I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Misty Floyd

We also have photos of the Kingman lettering on the outside of the building. Very ornate for that time and in this town. Let me know if you would like to see those. I can always email them to you.

Hi again:

I thought I had found your e-mail address someplace and have sent some photos to that address but heard nothing back so it must not have been yours. I don't have the seal itself but have numerous printed samples on catalogs etc. Send me an e-mail at [email protected] . And I will reply with a few photos.
Also if you go to the find a grave site and search for Martin Kingman there is a pretty good synopsis of his biography and a few photos.
