Been working off and on for the last couple of months on the hydraulics for the three point hitch. System had major water in it. Have drained changed fluid twice. Had everthing working but then the three point hitch started raising even when the lever was in the down position. If you have the fill plug under the seat out and rev the tractor fluid starts coming out of it. Any suggestions?

Dump a bunch of Seafoam in the system to mix the water with the oil and hopefully clean up the valves as it sounds like one or more is sticking.Then use the tractor get the hydraulics hot and drain it all out and there are two drain plugs and also clean the strainer in the hydraulic return line and while the drain plugs are out you might want to pour something like varsol thru it and then use an air hose to blow out as much as possible.

That plug under the seat is NOT the fill plug. It is in the plate on top of the tranny. A dipstick is at the right front of the diff center housing.
