Leyland 154 Diesel Ignition Switch

I just purchased a Leyland 154 (SN: 54D/301750/z 8727). I have several questions. The ignition switch is seized and key broken off. Does anyone have a good source for a replacement switch and/or good wiring diagram for the same?

I heard older ones can be positive ground; does the serial number date my tractor and if yes, can someone tell me if it is likely a negative or positive ground system? Thank you for the time.

Re: Leyland 154 Diesel Ignition Switch in reply to wagonerkl, 12-25-2013 18:59:04 has the 154 Leyland listed, and it was produced in 1984 according to them.

You may try Ebay for the ignition switch, they
may not have one for a "Leyland" but you can
find one that may work for you with a little

Take a look at the battery's ground cable to see it has the small hole for the negative post on the battery. If it has an alternator I think it would be negative grounded. Hal
