Long 510 Hydraulic Pump for Lift

Can anyone please give me some advise. I had to change the hydraulic pump. On top where the pressure line feeds out of the pump it is leaking. I ordered an o-ring kit from Long Tractor Parts. Several different sized came in the package.

On the metal fitting that screws to the pump it appears to be a small indention for an o-ring. I got one in but it didn"t help.

Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

hadn't thought of that but I will check. Suppose if they are I could put a couple of flat washers under the top and try. Also thought of putting a slightly oversized o-ring around the pump outlet and applying sometype of gasket material out of a tube around it also. Any suggestions are appreciated. Odd thing it is a long imported from UTB. It is around 33 years old and lately I have had a lot of trouble and spent more than it is worth. We have a Universal that was made in the same plant that made the longs and it is a 445 and about 40 years old. Still going strong. I use it quiet often. It is life it has had one set of brakes and a rebuild of the injector pump. The injector pump was caused by storing fuel in a metal barrel and it had some real fine rust in it that ate it up. At the time I was around 22 yrs and took it off and had it rebuilt. Didn't know you were supposed to time it. Just bolted it back up and off it went. Been running for 30 years so the fuel injector gods must have been shining on me that day.
