1930's PARRETT #6 Tractor: Parts Available?

Does anyone know if any parts for a Parrett #6 are available? Original or reproduction? Are the cast iron mufflers or Parrett name plates being recasted by anyone yet? TIA!

It was an ASSEMBLED tractor. If you can determine
the make and model of the engine, transmission,
rear end, you can probably find parts. Articles
in some of the Old tractor Magazines, such as,
"Antique Power" could be a big help.

Can't help with pieces, but your inquiry reminded me of a question about the original Parrett...
Tractordata etc usually refer to the original 10-20, refined into the production 12-25...
Tractor Field Book 1916 (Googlebooks) lists TWO Parrett 12-25s:
(a) a 2-plow, 2-seed designated 12-25
(b) a 3 plow, 3-speed, designated H 12-25...
D'you know if these were actually produced at the same time, or if the "H" was an upgrade, and both spec lists got into the Field Book without mention of the "H" being an upgrade??
Any comments appreciated. Many thxx!! Bud

Bud- Sorry unfortunately I can't answer your question but you raise a very good point. I was at a tractor show last weekend and was going through a guys manual/brochure stash that he had for sale and in order to speed up the looking process I asked him if he had anything on Parrett tractors....of course I was looking for stuff on the 3 wheeled Parretts from the 30's but he said yes and showed me a several page brochure on probably one of the models of Parretts you are talking about Bud. I couldn't remember how many of the early Parretts they made but I was thinking the number was low from the little I remember in the Antique Power article within the last year. Anyways he had a price of over $700 on it, he said he was offered $500 for it and turned it down, but he admitted he probably should have sold it. It had Dent Parrett's autograph on it along with a mailer that you could request more info I believe.

Bud do you have any books or does anyone out there know where I could find out a build date on the Hercules IXB engine in my Parrett if I gave my serial number? I would like to help narrow down the year of manufacture of the tractor. I know its somewhere between 1933-36.

Thanks!

Many thxx for reply. On your IXB have nothing personally--try the Herc Guru: Jerry Biro at herculesparts.com...
If unable to help there's herculesengine.com (singular) who reportedly bought the Herc parts inventory and m'f'rs some Herc parts...(watch the spelling as herculesengines.com (plural) is a site for the little Hercules farm engines).
If no help there you might try posting on marine engine sites like oldmarineengine.com, as a number of the IXs were marinized for boats...
