I found out the hard way last weekend that the injection pump / governor has it's own oil supply, not from the engine. It my fault for not reading more on the tractor, never even thought of checking. Started hearing a squeak while cutting hay, could not figure it out, thought it was the alternator. Anyways, ran it pretty much dry, finally figured it out, added half Lucas Oil Treatment, half Engine oil in it. Squeak is gone and after running it for awhile, it is now running like it used to. Anyone know if this pump can be rebuilt or where to look for replacement? I can't believe it's going to keep running well for long after that. Ideas?
