Can you Identify What Machine This Engine Is For? I am pretty sure it is a continental f162 or F163 but I cannot figure out what application it is for.

Yes it's in a crawler but it is not the engine that should be in there. Someone made an adaptor plate to make it fit. They also chopped away a good section of the frame.

It is in a Clark CA-1 but it has an adaptor plate someone made to fit the dozer. I know it is not suppose to be in this dozer, what I am trying to find out is what it"s for. I want to sell the engine and want to know what it fits so I can advertize it accurately

Paul, I first thought it was a CA-1 or US Trac, thanks for confirmation. I understand your quest completely, however Continental made engines for beau coup OEMs; without serial number plate and specification number, your chances of finding that exact engine"s pedigree are extremely slim, especially as they are in the neighborhood of 50 years old. Good luck.
