BF Avery A emblem

I have a 1944 BF Avery A and the grill has two screw-size holes about a foot apart, and I am wondering if there is some type of emblem that once mounted in these holes.
I have a BF Avery A emblem that is about the size of a belt buckle, but no holes match up with the emblem. I was wondering what or where this emblem might go.

Go to B.F. Avery.com website,you should be able to access pictures of restored Averys with the medallion,HOWEVER very early "A"s used a decal at the center of the hood,in front.These were the first versions sold after Avery bought the tooling and rights from Cletrac. I have a reproduction of the decal here,may have more made if there is any interest.There is information that gives the various production serial number changes over time,perhaps you would consider joining the Avery club,information is provided in the Newsletter.
