Question on BF Avery

I recently purchased an Avery tractor, but I cannot determine what model it may be. This is what I found. The plate where it tells about the serial number is missing, I think. (From what I can find where the serial number plate should be located is the following: 1A-1952 which is stamped in a steel plate.)
On the right side of the engine block on a plate are the following numbers Top Line: 2424380. Second line: 008-006. Nothing else is legible.
Two things the tractor has are hand brakes and a distributor ignition system.

Your 242 number is the engine serial number. Go on the otherside of the block and near the top almost in the center(length wise) Hercules will have stamped the model number of the engine. 006 & 008 are the valve clearances. Take a look at your 1A number again. If it is a Cletrac built tractor you are missing a letter(F). If it is an Avery build tractor your front number is wrong.
