I posted this in the Garden Tractor Forum As Well......

An older gentleman called and said he has a tractor made by Sears and Roebuck and was only made for 1 year. He has all of the equipment with it and has the wheel wheights too. What could this tractor be?? I can't remember what he called it but I had never heard the name. It wasn't Handiman, Economy, nor David Bradley. He wants $550 for it.

I know it may be difficult to get a photo, but it would help. Is it a full size farm tractor? Or is it a"garden tractor" Sears sold farm tractors named Graham-Bradley. They also sold a garden tractor called a Tri-Trac, which had a wide axle in front and only one pulling wheel in back. They had a very short production run. If it is very old and in decent shape, it could easily be worth the asking price, however I would haggle a little anyway.

When you say made by Sears and Roebuck you probably mean sold by them. They sold 3 different farm tractors. A Bradley tractor that was built in 1931. A Sears Economy that was built from 1938-39. And a Graham-Bradley that was built from 1937-39. All of which used equipment made by David Bradley. Since you said you posted this also in the Garden tractor forum, I'm assuming that this "tractor" is probably a garden tractor rather than a farm tractor? Am I correct or are you not sure at this point? Sears sold several garden tractors and I'm not real versed it the garden tractors. However if you find out this is indeed a farm tractor I can definately give you more info. Please let us know what you find out.
