I have wanted a silver king for a long time. I would rather buy one to restore instead of one already done and I really want one of the late 3 wheeled tractors but would be happy if i could find a 4 wheeled one and happier if i could find an early 3 wheel. I have no idea where to look as far as I know they were practically non existant in western kansas where i am from. How much do you think one would cost I haven"t found harly anything for sale on the net and none of what i have has a price listed how many are still around or has everthing that is left been snagged up already and fixed up nice
thanks in advance take care guys

You"d LOVE a Silver King Levi!! They really are neat little tractors. I"d always wanted one for years and got one a few years ago and restored it. Your right about your location and not having many out that way. It seems to me that most didn"t make it too far from Ohio where they were made. However they are getting scattered around now since collected is getting so popular. If you are serious about buying one you need to join or at least visit the Silver King Club"s website. They send out letters and there may be some for sale from time to time. As far as aprice range there really arnt a lot of them being sold to get a feel for what the market is. However I don"t ever recall seeing one that ran under $2,000. If you have any other questions feel free to e-mail me.

Well as long as it would be complete I wouldn't mind resurecting one. Also it looks like a marriage could be in my future and I don't know how much she digs old tractors she is fine with me doing it but I doubt she would understand 2 grand for a tractor i am not intending to farm with I told her the irs doesn't know that and that at least my hobby is deductable. Not quite a fight mostly because she is a sweet gal, maybe I should have adjusted my words a little but we haven't talked about it for a while but I think she would enjoy it if i could get her in the shop because she always liked helping her dad put sprayers together when he worked at the dealership and old tractors are way more fun than sprayers. It is a dream of mine to have one and I can be patient and wait till i find one. So what all can you tell me about silver Kings I have read some of the history about them. What kind of tractor do you guys have?
take care gents
