Hello,
I recently bought a Long 445DT tractor.
It runs great and everything seems to work but the three point hitch.
The guy I bought it from said the previous owner thought it needed to be bled.
i tinkered with it and couldn't find a place to bleed it. The remotes have pressure and work good.
I took the hydraulic valve body (front part of the reservoir under the seat) off and I moved the piston and it was slightly stuck. It did not take alot of force to move so Im thinking that was just from not being used. after I "freed" it up I put it together and the arms slowly drift up. The speed control does nothing to it and you can push the arms down if you put your body weight on them.
I took the relief valve out and cleaned it up. That had no effect. I took out every plug on the thing and cleaned whatever was under it.
I don't think the rings on the piston are bad.
The three point lift has no effect no matter how you move it.
I just hope somebody has an idea of what is going on here.
Thank you and have a nice day,
Kody
