I have a couple of pieces out of the gasket kit and I can't figure out where they go. It is the big white one and the big copper ring. Any ideas?

First of all which Continetal engine and what gasket set? Remember there were manry variations in the Continental engines as they built them for many OEM's with minor changes.

Sorry, didn't think about it. It is the same as the one in the allis G. I think that it is n62.

Hi Pat the white felt gasket is the governor out shaft seal I can't rember where the crush gaskets go

its been 2 years since I did my engine. Yes Its a N 62 engine. When you reassemble the engine and install the front engine mounts put some RTV gasket seal on the threads and bolt as the hole goes thur the engine block and will leak oil when running if it not sealed, (guess how I know).
