need info on diesel intercontintal tractors. i have one but in rough condition. Is a huber built on the same frame?

DF Intercontinental?? You mean the one built down in Garland, TX, Intercontinental Mfg Co?? I thought those were all built for export, Argentina, I think it was...
Don't know anything about it, except apparently originally used Buda 4BD182.
If nothing turns up, you mught try locating a farm/ag/tractor group in Garland, or the pub lib (documents section) for any old advertising brochures etc. Good luck.

thanks yes it was buildt in garland. one of the deisels stayed here so i know it is rare.i need any info anyone has.

You're going to have to be your own detective on this one; all I have is a few notes from books.
Google Intercontinental tractor; you should get a Gas Engine Magazine hit re' the C26 gas that does mention the diesels, and a Wiki thumbnail of Intercontinental, which became IMCO...
Since this was an "assembled" tractor your running gear etc was almost certainly used in other tractors, but you have to ID your components and/or find some tech literature that ID's it if parts are missing.
The gas model/s? seemed to've gone thru NATECO (Nat'l Eqpmt Co of TXs, Marshall, TX), Sollberger Eng'g Co of Marshall, Laughlin Tractor Co of Marshall and then into Intercont'l, who apparently put the diesels together.
Post around on all the tractor forums you can find; many owners don't necessarily follow this one.Good luck.

Antique Power did an article on Intercontinentals years ago. You might be able to a copy of that article from them.
