Do NOT buy Husqvarna products. I bought a new garden tractor in April 2011, and only used it twice each month. In Sepetmber the belt broke. I contacted the store where I purchased the tractor, and they told me to take the tractor to a service agent 12 miles away, which I did. The service agent said belts are not covered, and refused to replace it. I contacted Husqvarna, and received a curt response that belts are not covered. Due to the short life of the belt, it should have been replaced. I"ll never buy Husqvarna products again!
 
I have a neighbor that has a Husqvarna garden tractor that had the same problem. The first year he went through 4 belts. He found a different out let for belts and has had better luck.He found out that when deck is down the belt pulley on tractor and pulley on deck are way out of alinement.
 
Sorry to hear about your troubles but I have three (3) Husqvarna lawn tractors and have yet to replace a belt, I would find it hard to consider other brands with the way they have preformed for me. Perhaps they got a bad batch of Chinese belts, I'd go to an industrial parts supplier and get a god quality industrial belt.
I really doubt any mfg warrants the belts.
