Silver Kng Seat

Bought a Silver King seat at an auction. It is cast aluminum, with "Silver King Plymouth Ohio" cast in the center. Is this original, or a reproduction?

Reproduction i don't think they used aluminum.The seats in the parts book are all pressed steel not cast.

I think i would call it new production as the tractors never came with them.

Its an aluminium reproduction made by the Silver King Club.

What tractors was this seat made for? Or was it made for a wall hanger to display in your shop?

Like i said below there are no cast seats in the parts book.The pressed steel seats rust and crack and break.You see silverking tractors with seats from differant machines,so i think the club just decided to make some with the right name.

The seats have been made since the 1990's and are still being produced. Lots of club members install them since most of the originals are rotted out. They are not an antique. Ive seen a few hangers out there.
