show featureing silverking

Well i went to a show today featureing silverking tractors, only problem was only one showed up.Looked like no one had done anything.

Never saw but one or two Silverkings in our part of the country. But there must still be a few of the things left that are worth fixing up. Kinda a shame, ain't it?
Hadn't thought of that name in quite some time. Never even knew who built them.

As I remember, the Silver King was built by the Fate-Root-Heath Company of Plymouth, Ohio. If I remember again, I think there was a Plymouth tractor built by the same company, but a naming problem cropped up with Chrysler Corp.

If I didn't remember right, I hope someone who reads this post will correct me. The older I get, the more things I remember but then I start wondering if they really happened...LOL!

Ignore my last posting, at least the part about the Plymouth tractor, but google "history of Plymouth Silver King" and you'll learn everything you ever wanted to know.
