our father was restoring this rare tractor when he passed away and we have someone interested in it but we have no idea of value. any ideas? this tractor has self cleaning rocker cleats.

I don't get over here much so sorry for the late reply. check out the Cafferty sale on proxibid from last month if you still need price ideas. http://www.proxibid.com/asp/Catalog.asp?aid=37854&p=2&srch=search%20catalog&sort=0

the very early Green F 18-35 and G2 15-25 were advertised as should run. We bought the F and considered it a good deal, we expected it to go a little higher even though It has a few issues and wrong parts, but they were mostly minor. the G2 was a much nicer looking tractor, but G2's are also more common. the other mostly complete F lot 39 was missing a few pieces, but compared to previous sales we felt it went on the cheap side for a very restorable tractor.

Ignore the G's price, it is a rare tractor and the bidding reflected that. Depending on condition, completness and how close to running it is will greatly affect value. there are a fair number of F's out there.

If you have serial numbers I have a project going to try and match engine numbers to serials to help date tractors without a tag since many rock islands are missing their tractor tags. I also love to see pics of these tractors. I don't suppose you'd part with the cleat scraper? ours is only partially there and it would be nice to have something to work off of for missing the missing pieces and for my webstite http://www.rockislandplowco.com/. Of course, I'd even be happy with pictures.
