Does anyone know where I can find a water pump for a chrysler 324 cubic inch? Mine has a bad wobble and leaks out the front.

Cardone rebuilds ALL sorts of stuff, and can rebuild odd stuff as needed. GOOGLE 'em for contact information to see if they can help you, though a local reseller.

What is your fuel off of? Any numbers on the old pump? Hal
PS: Some of the old Chrysler cars had a dual action fuel pump for the wipers. Desota cars may have used the same engine.

I have a electric fuel pump the old pump gave out awhile back. This is on a lehr tractor.

Is that a 6 or an 8 on your Lehr?? If an 8, do you know if it was original?? I hadn"t heard of any Lehrs that came with an 8 (but there"s lots I haven"t heard!!) Many thxx for advice. Bud

Its a 324 cubic inch 8cyl out of a dragline. Not the orginal motor it had a 230. Custom had some 8cyl from factory and Lehr and custom are almost identical. I also have a Wards with the straight 8.

Many thxx for reply; I knew of the Customs, and that the Norseman, Rockol and the Regal (names when sold in Canada) had some 8"s, but didn"t know about the Wards model coming with 8"s.
Custom and/or Lowther supposedly built them all (Lehr, Wards, Jumbo/Simpson"s Jumbo, maybe more) and some sources say all exactly alike, but others mention differences, altho could"ve been differences from changes/improvements made during years in production. Don"t know of any definitive history, but Antique Power had a nice piece on them.

I don"t believe they ever sold any eight cylinder tractors from the factory. There was a discussion at a Custom Club meeting I attended several years ago. The idea started because the specs list model "6" and model "8" Chrysler industrial engines were used. However, they were both six cylinder, the model 6 was a 230 and a model 8 was a 251.
