hercules crawler trencher

A distant relatives estate has a crawler hercules trencher. Any one ever heard of that? I havent kinda know alot about tractors nothing about crawlers. Also a minneapolis moline stationary engine. Rather large. Not for sale trust me.

Are you sure it is not an Oliver as they made a small crawler trencher and the exhaust manifold on the engine may say Hercules. I will e-mail you, can you send me a picture. J.

A possibility here is a company called Hercules Equipment or something similar, that builds or built mining equipment. Checked their website and it doesn"t mention self-propelled stuff, but didn"t have time to dig much or look for a history.
If your relative lived in mining country, it could be some kind of mining equipment, presumably surface if it has a gasoline or diesel engine.
(Dying of curiosity!).

Ahhh, curiosity is a terrible taskmaster....
Many thxx for the reply; Cleveland did use various stock engines, including Herc's...
But that leaves me wondering how "Herc" got on the radiator...
If you recall, and don't mind wasting more time to assuage my idle curiosity:
Was the "Herc" cast into a cast-iron radiator or shell, or on a later light metal top radiator tank?
The only Herc Radiator Co I found was an outfit that did say it made car and truck radiators, but it was based in Dubai...
I suppose it could be a Herc whole engine + radiator assembly made for Cleveland, with Herc on the radiator...
As before, still dying of curiosity! (Please don't waste any time on this if you can't recall off the top of your head!). Many thxx!! Bud
