I am trying to find a wiring diagram and a source for a light switch for my Oliver 60 row crop.

The Oliver 60 had a third brush generator. The third brush got current from the armature for the field circuit. The field circuit went to ground through the light switch. With the switch pushed in, the field was grounded through the resistor, pulled out one detent the field went directly to ground or high output. The last time I needed a switch, I got one from a John Deere dealer. The old "A" and "B" tractors had third brush generators.

Go to the link below. They have the correct light switches and I'm told they have very high quality wiring harnesses.

I probably have acopy of the wiring diagram, however I can not scan it. A light switch for other tractors will work. Someone advertizes them for a Deere for 40 some bucks. How important is it that you have both rates of charg? Doing a lot of farming at night?

No farming at all. This is basically a perade tractor. The wiring is shot and the light swith is broke. The battery keeps running down.
