I took pictures of the seat. I pointed a screwdriver at the places that I squirted panther pee to soak it. Come from the back with 2 pry bars under the seat plate and pry it up and then set on the seat to push it back down, repeat process, it will slowly begin to move. Mine goes down easy but I still have to pry it back up. Are your torsion bars still good? You have to take the adjustment screw out to get to them.

Thanks for the pictures. I haven't tried prying up on it. The tractor that it came off of in the boneyard must have been at a fertilizer plant all its life or something. All the sheet metal looked like a rusted out fertilizer spreader. I'll give it some more shots where you did. It might break loose before I die of old age.
