Parking brake 1855

Hi to all and thanks in advance. The parking brake on my 1855 needs adjustment so it holds the tractor. Yesterday I finally got around to looking to
see how that might be accomplished.. was hoping there was something obvious but I didnt see a Clovis or anyth8ng that could make it work better.

Where do I start? Thanks

There's a cap on each brake housing, looks like the cap on a wheel hub. Take those off and there's a lock nut that takes a 3/4 wrench and a bolt that takes an Allen wrench. Loosen the lock nut, turn the bolt with the Allen wrench until it just comes snug then tighten the lock nut. After adjusting both sides, you should have three clicks when you pull the lever.
