Oliver 1550 loader lift capacity?

I was wondering what the lift capacity is on the loader on my 1550 gas I cannot find any model numbers on the loader it has a thick coat of paint it, but it was manufactured for the Oliver 50 series tractors I am looking for a approximate lift capacity? & thanks everyone for all the help with the 1550 this forum is a Oliver saver for sure!

Hi:

The lift capacity of a cylinder is a function of pressure and flow. The flow in this case is the capacity of your pump. The pressure is a function of the size of your cylinder.

Assuming your pump is putting out 2600 psi and that you have a cylinder size of 1.5 inch then your lift capacity is 5200 pounds. Increase your cylinder size to 4 inch and your lift capacity increases to 10400.

So what is the capacity of your pump and what is the size of your cylinder?

Maybe it's built on a lighter frame that the cylinders are made for.
