Belt Pulley

Hello, another question for my oil seal replacement quest. I need to replace the belt pulley oil seal on my Oliver 60 row crop. I understand I need to take off the large nut inside the pulley housing. What is the easiest way of removing that nut so I can get to that seal. Thanks

Thank you, a big socket is what I was
thinking as well. I just need to find one
deep enough to go over the shaft and onto
the nut. The big sockets I had access to
were too shallow. So I'll have to see if I
can scare up a deeper one!

Had the same issue. Extended the socked by cutting it at welding a piece of heavy wall pipe between the two halves. Seemed like a shame to hack apart a brand new heavy socket, but it did the trick.

I made one that way for the threaded rod dual hooks on one pair of dual I have that uses them. I used a one dollar flea market socket for it, but that doesn't help you much if you need it now.
