An Oily Mess in Clutch housing

Finally got my clutch housing off the 1850D today and found out the reason for the clutch failure. Looks like the rear seal has failed.

Here are some ugly pictures of the job so far. Was hoping to stick in the new flywheel and bolt her up this afternoon but I guess it will be
another trip to town for a crankshaft seal.

Yes, I got the email John thank you. My refaced flywheel is waiting to go on. I am not sure if this one is salvageable though as the cracks look fairly deep and it is polished mirror smooth. I am surprised it had any clutch at all. Mind you I did have to limp it to the garage in Low R1

That's one of the worst fly wheels that I have seen. The clutch has been slipping and got hot.
