Power traction hitch with IH 100 sickle mower

Finding it difficult to get my 770 to work with 3 point sickle. Anyone know a work around?

can't answere question but, those are pretty good mowers. Hope you get it figured out.

I have not worked with a 3-point mower before, I assume that the chain is supposed to raise the bar when the 3-point raises.

Can you attach the chain to the front pivot for the Power Traction Hitch? It may not work.

Another possibility would be to add a short one-way hydraulic cylinder in place of the chain.

I just happened to think, how did IH do it for the 2-point fast hitch version of this mower. Scroll down in the linked thread to the pictures of a fast hitch version and how the chain is. Might get an idea of how to make the chain work similarly on the Oliver hitch. You still need those lift pin bushings.

Don't remember a chain on any 3 point mower I had and that includs Oliver mower.
