1650 front end

Hello All,

I'm posting a pic of my 1968 gas 1650 project my son and I picked up in baskets a year ago. Upgrades included 15.5 new rear tires, (came with 12.4 which was on the build card and were very dry rotted) hi flotation on the front, cheap aftermarket seat which actually is fairly comfy, handles this MD82 discbine with ease.
My son rebuilt the hydraulic pump, everything is working as it should, including the stock creeper trans. ( on build card) , which I am toying swapping out for and hydrapower unit, occupies the same space, actually.
2nd pic is the discovered broken u bolt. Does anyone happen to have the part number, or one to sell?

TIA, Bruce

Where are you located? I like that it had 12.4s and creeper. Sounds like it was ordered for a set of specific crops. Was it a special order? Where was it shipped?

Hi Scooter,
I'm located in South Jersey, it was shipped to a dealership 4 miles from my farm! (Farm Rite Inc). At that time, they were located in Shiloh NJ. I believe it was
used for vegetable production, the creeper was possibly for digging root crops of some sort.

Nice looking tractor. You do some painting? Those axle sure are long.

Bought my 1964 1650 last October. Runs great. Took me some time to get use the gear shifting. 6th gear gets me down the road at pretty good clip.
Oversize tires front and rear and (I guess) a Farm Hand end loader - replaced the pivot pins for the bucket.
Everything old - possibly as old as the tractor. I've replaced about $500 worth of hydraulic hoses and still have a couple that needs replaced.
Needs some wiring repair.

Wife calls it my toy....
