magneto xh-1113 xhg-4 Oliver lag angle 21 degrees. governor indexed to punch mark cam gear. Flywheel timing mark lined up with bell housing timing mark. Points set .015. Problem Governor slot pointing 10-4 o'clock. Magneto drive cup flanges pointing to 1 and 7 oclock. Engine backfired when magneto set to governor slot. reduced lag degrees to max 33 degrees. Using aftermarket fast 12 volt starter. Engine started one time only. Timing light showed late ignition. Would not start again. Rebuilt magneto with strong spark. Have Wico Service Manual and Oc-3 Service Manual. Cletrac would not start last fall. traded in old magneto and replaced the carburetor. New plugs and spark plug harness. Any ideas why the drive cup flanges are not lining up?
