Traction hitch?

Is this part of what Oliver called a tracion hitch? Did it not catch on? Looks like it did not leave much ground clearance.

Yes, that's part of a traction hitch. I have one on my 880. It does cut down a little on ground clearance but, not a lot.

I would say the industry standards which took hold were more effective- i.e. swinging drawbar and 3 point hitches.
