Hello, I have an Oliver 60 Row Crop.
Getting this tractor going after sitting
for 30 years has been an ongoing project
for me. I am currently needing to replace
both rear outer axle oil seals. The ones
under the rear bearing cap. Both leak quite
a lot. I also need to replace the PTO oil
seal on the right side in front of the
right rear tire.

Could someone help me figure out what the
replacement part numbers are for these oil
seals? Thanks.

Hello, I think I told you this before, the parts books are online on the Agco website, though it's not very user friendly until you get used to it.

The axle oil seals are part number H1443 (Timken?National 450085, SKF/CR 19969), and the felt seals are part number H703 (I don't know of a cross reference). For the felt, you could actually just cut some yourself if you have a thick felt sheet, it's just for dust control.

For the "PTO" seal in front of the right tire, I'm assuming you're referring to the belt pulley seal? If so, that's H693 (Timken/National 450291, SKF/CR 17653).

I'd check with Korves, Agpartsfirst, or Ricksagparts if you want to get them from Oliver enthusiast supporters.

Thank you very much this answers my
question! Yes you did tell me where to find
the parts books. I will write that website
down this time that way I can remember.

For the seals, most auto parts chains can supply them. NAPA, O'Reilly, AutoZone, etc. enter the seal number in their search box. Prices vary a bit. Problem with the large chaiins is that they will list it as National or SKF but you will get a China-made product. I'm running into this more and more.

I was able to find the seals I need. Thanks again for the help. Now as far as replacing the axle seals. Is it safe to assume I'll have to remove the wheel hub, then I can remove the outer bearing cap and get to the seal I need to replace that way?

I just want to make sure I'm thinking about this correctly.

About 40 years ago at the parts house where I worked, the owner told me he stocked BCA bearings because they were made in USA. I was back in his office 3 minutes later with 5 boxes of BCA bearings made in about 4 different countries. It was the about the same with National seals that we stocked.
