Good morning all
I was reading on here and watching videos of removing the engine from a 2-105. The frame rails curve in just in front of the rear motor mounts making it hard to move the engine forward very far, requiring the cab to be lifted and the fuel tank removed to get the engine out. It is my understanding that there was a change made to the frame rails mid-way through production that made both rails straight instead of curving in. I confirmed this by looking at my 1981 2-105 and it has straight rails. I was wondering if anyone has removed the engine from a straight rail 2-105 and if the fuel tank still needs to be removed and also if the cab still needs to be lifted.
Thanks
