Looking for a 1600-1650-1655

Prefer a narrow front, but can go with a wide. A 1650 would be ideal.
I am up at Clare, Mi.
Any thoughts on which of the three models would be best. Want to use on a Woods 3 pt. rear discharge finish mower...
 
If you don't care about spending a little bit more,I'd slide over the 1600. Don't get me wrong,they're a good tractor,but the 1650-55 is just a little more evolved. I don't think there's a dimes worth of difference between the 50 and 55,just cosmetic for the most part.

There's a 1550 diesel on CL in North Branch for a decent price right now,but it's been a little while since I've seen a 1600-1650 advertised. There were some jockeys that had some up that way not too long ago.
 
It was available. I think you could get one in a 1650 the last year they were made. They just weren't available in the 1550 or 1555,those were hydra power only.

My neighbor has a 1655 gas in great shape he has for sale for 5k. Hes a tractor mechanic with umpteen tractors. I think hes chose that one because his other 3 1655's are diesel lol
 
I mow with a Woods RM990 (93", rear discharge) and a 1650 diesel. When that mower gets in thick grass it will really suck up the horsepower.

I have a late 1968, 1650 diesel narrow front, it has been in our family since brand new, it has over/under, pencil injectors, it is the same a 1655, just not the grill
