The AC compressor locked up on the 2-105 yesterday. I guess I have the "York" style? It's the square one. I did a search for a new one. The price isn't terrible, but Jensales has a conversion kit to change it to the Sanden style like my Series 3 2-135 has. The price is considerably more though. I don't know what to think of the situation. I never dealt with Jensales. I hate to go with just a gut feeling, but all I've ever heard about their manuals that they sell is negative. I don't know what to think about other things they sell,no experience here.
We're talking $412 for the conversion, but that includes the compressor, fittings and new bracket vs less than $200 for a direct bolt up original style. Any suggestions? The tractor only has 5015 hours and I plan to have it the rest of my farming life so I want to go with the best. I don't want to throw money down the drain either if it's just a wash in the end.
