They were made for White by Iseki (Japan), and the larger frame utility machines were not imported by anybody else, unlike the compact tractors. Not impossible to find parts for, but almost. If you are interested in a White in that power class find a 2-60. Made by Fiat in Italy and licence built by others around the world so most everything available after market.

Just wondering why parts would be so tough to get since the curent MF 1700 series and I think the 3600 tractors are Iseki made right now. Iseki is still in business. Maybe things get obsolete in Japan quicker

Yes Iseki is still in business, but Japanese laws ARE such that the models are obsoleted more rapidly. That is the source for most of the grey market low hour machines as they obsoleted, are bought up and shipped elsewhere. The tractors badged as White 2-45,2-62, 2-45 through 2-75 were not imported under any other manufacturers badge. They were also not brought in in large numbers. If you look at the serial number range for the machine he is looking at they brought in less than 2000 units. It is not the parts that get changed often like clutches that are going to be the problem, it things like front drive axle parts, transmission gears, PTO shafts that will cause prolonged failures while parts are located from donor units (if found) or far away.
