I looked at a 1555 gas last week. serial number is 262875. If Tractor Data is correct the last 1555 was 262877, so this one would be the third from the end. Tractor is very straight, however it looks like someone blew a cheap brand of paint over it 10 to 15 years ago and it?s fading badly. Under the over coat the nice meadow green is there. Now for my question,,, all the decals look the original except that there is a decal on the engine hood flares and the hood spears are quite different than my 155 diesel or any other Oliver I have or any that I have seen for that matter.
Does any one know if they changed something right at the end... I remember that they badged the last some of the last bigger 55 series as White Oliver?s... I try to get a picture and post a bit later today. Thoughts
