1755 hydraulic problem

The hydraulics on my 1755 do not work. Thought it was the pump so I changed it,started the tractor and nothing. No steering, no hydraulics whatsoever. Need this tractor to mow hay and run wrapper. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like the unloader valve is stuck open. I have capped mine in the past during trouble shooting to get the pump to make pressure. I unhook it at the small rectangular/square block on the relief valve and cap with a #10 Jic male (for the steal line) and a #jic female for the unloader valve. Reference the parts book page 141 for pictures #30, #31 is what I'm talking about, post back if that doesn't work

I will look up your suggestion in the manual. Talked to guy at work today that said i would probably have to split tractor.

(quoted from post at 11:33:51 06/05/18) YOU WILL NOT NEED TO SPLIT THE TRACTOR! Send me an e-mail and include your phone number and we will discuss it.
have tried to figure out the email thing for this site but can't get it to send. I have use of the hydraulics now but new pump gets super hot and 3pt hitch won't go down.

3pt might be draft control out of adjustment.

Pump getting hot fast could either be the cooler pump is not functioning (correctly) or there is a leak in the system and the main pump is pumping constantly. What pressure did you set the compensator at? What pressure is the high-pressure relief set at? If the relief is lower than the pressure you're trying to achieve with the compensator, it will get toasty pretty quick.
