White 100 engine removal

Hello all. I have pulled Oliver / HPD several times, but this is my first trunnion mount. The clutch will not release when pressing the pedel down. It was working fine and then now it wont stop.

I have a service manual and for clutch R&R is says to consult engine chapter, and the engine chapter refers to a cummins manual.
I am wondering is it possible to leave HPD in place and just pull motor?
If HPD is pulled the PTO shaft has a procedure and a special tool?

If it is not too many pages could someone copy to make my manual whole? Please

Any other pointers?

Thanks Andy

Just pull the over/under with the engine like you would any other one. On those
tractors, the pto shaft slips into a coupler at the back of the over/under and the
front half of the shaft is bolted to the flywheel and will stay with the engine.

I made a tool for that. I have a picture of it but I can't find it right now. When I mentioned it to the Oliver White mechanic at the dealership,he said they never use one. Apparently if you slide it ahead a little so it doesn't bind the PTO stays OK. I've had the engine out of my 2-135 twice and if memory serves me right,I didn't use it the second time. There's just a small hole in the drive shaft coupler and you put that little rod through that and tighten it against the PTO shaft so it can't slide.

You don't have to do that on the newer ones Randy because the rear pto shaft stays in the back and the front shaft is bolted directly to the flywheel and the coupler stays with the back or front. On those 135/155's like you're referring to they could be a real pain and thats what that tool was needed for.
