im looking to replace my wide front w/ a narrow , was wondering are all the 4-digit front ends the same , or did they get built heavier as the tractors got bigger . if
they are different what narrow fronts will bolt to a 1650 ? i also had a guy tell me an 88 front will fit a 1650 but there's no way that could be built to take the
weight of a bigger tractor, would probably break spindles over time. if anyone has or knows of a 1650 narrow front for sale in Pa let me know , would like to keep my
wide front its in nice shape but would maybe trade also.

I have a NF 1650 diesel for sale plus an extra NF...However,I'm in Missouri..

If your 1650 is power steering the 88 front end will bolt up to the tub, but you'll have to do a bunch of re-engineering as even if the 88 front end was power steering as well the systems are completely different. If you don't find anything closer, I have a complete narrow front off a 1550, steering cylinder to hubs for a project that got cancelled. I think my email is open.

I don't know if those spindles are heavier of not. I do know that my 1850 wide front uses the same spindles and hubs as my 1550 and 1600. An 88 would have the gearbox built right on the pedestal and would be a shaft steer. If your 1650 has power steering, you need one with the cylinder that comes off.

I sent you an e-mail but we had some of those narrow fronts break. We had some used narrow fronts off of 1800 tractors. That front end is a heavier duty front.

I don't know where you are, but I have one I would sell. It needs he top and bottom bearings. It is in north central Ky.

We have a 1655 diesel tractor we mainly use for pulling. Slight bit of farm work but we were considering going to a narrow front end. Looking into the parts and set up we needed and hopefully some advice. If you have any information that could help me I would really appreciate it. If you would like to get ahold of me over phone my number is (573)680-3766. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
