Stopped and looked at a 550 today, in north central Illinois, with a loader and back blade. Everything seems to be in good working order, sheet metal and paint is decent but not original. Power steering and pto work. Loader operated nice. One rear tire is pretty nice, the other has some digits in it. Fronts are cracked but all Four hold air it seemed. Any ideas what it?s worth? Wish I?d gotten pictures of the loader, pump runs off crank shaft. trying to figure what I could realistically get for the loader as well. I?m a two cylinder guy, not familiar with these

First a few questions. Does it have a remote hydraulic on the right side of the transmission case? Is it gas or diesel. The power steering a good to have. Does it have a draw bar? Some of these extras really increase the value. Pictures would be a help too. Check out the 550 buying tips article

I have a 1973 Oliver 550. Purchased it in 2005 for $5750. Had an Allied 300 loader, power steering remote hyd, no drawbar, and new tires. Put another $5000 into it a few years ago to do a full restore. Great little tractor! Before and After pics.
