MM G1355 into Ollie 2270. Sacrilegious?

Gambles

Okay, Oliver and MM experts, I got a thought passing through my brain and I'm some of you will say it ain't pretty, but I got tough skin, so fire away.
For the lesser informed, the MM 1355 and the Oliver/Cockshutt 2270 are pretty much the same. It's an MM engine mated to an Oliver rear end and came in Oliver, MM and Cockshutt badging.
It was manufactured during the darker days of White, but I digress....
Anyway, there is an MM diesel 1355 near me that that owner would part with. I collect Oliver tractors, but I've never had an Oliver 2270.
The question for the experts is this: How much work would it take to convert the MM 1355 into an Oliver 2270? Yea, I realize the paint would need to be changed. The serial plate may (or may not) need to be changed, depending on how strict the onlookers are. (Pretty sure a few factory Oliver 2270 tractors had MM badges) Decals, model numbers would be different, what about the sheet metal? Gauges? Did the MM 1355 have different labeled gauges than the 2270? Steering wheel emblems?
And before this gets sidetracked, yes, I know exactly how costly engine parts for this tractor are. I also know the reputation of the strengths and weaknesses of this engine.
Okay, your input is needed. NOTHING has been done to start this process, so any or all comments are welcome.

Yea, good answer. Around here, the Oliver version is so rare that I've never seen one. Thanks for setting me straight.
Any answers to the other questions?

I'm not familiar with any of those models. Operators Manuals often have a lot of pictures of the controls, adjustment points and labels on a tractor. If the company printed separate manuals for each brand you might compare the manuals to spot the differences.

You might also try comparing the sales literature, parts lists and maybe service manuals to see if they show the same views of each different brand.

Finding the parts to switch out could be difficult unless you can find a parts tractor or a salvage yard with all the parts you will need.
