Have a engine in a parts White 2-70 and found a 1850 with a hole in the block Perkins engine.Does the tub frame on the 1850 also have the holes to mount the engine out of the
2-70?

No. The 2-70 engine is Oliver/Waukesha, which needs different engine mounts than the Perkins.

TF, There is an 1850 gas one owner tractor near me for $3500. I have a 1650 frame and rear end that had a ventilated 283 diesel if interested. I found an add with 2-70 sheet metal including fenders for $850.

Maybe. I went out and measured the outside diameter of the tubs on my 1850 and 1655 (same tractor as the 2-70). Measured at the rear of the tubs just ahead of where the dash platform bolts on, both tubs measured 21 inches, near as I could tell with all the things in the way. I was surprised, I expected the 1850 to be an inch or two wider. The bolt-on end of the tubs is a good 8-10 inches back from the point I measured so there's no guarantee the bolt spacing is the same. No way to measure the actual bolt spacing without pulling things apart. You need to get the spacing from someone(s) who has things pulled apart to pin it down.
