How is the glow plug activated on Cockshutt 560?

Hi John,

The push button is on the dash.....below the amp gauge. Move throttle lever to full position. Hold it in for 15 seconds on cold weather start and hold in while cranking. Idle down, "immediately" when it starts. The push button goes to a solenoid and then to the heater coil. The 4.270 engine is a quick starting engine when all is OK ! My 560 starts immediately, not even one revolution of the engine.

I will call you later about the lift pump.

Thanks Phil. The lift pump has kind of a round cap that's held on by a bolt in the center.
