303 hydraulic oil in 1650

It probly is but everyone I've seen talk about 303 fluid say its barely good enough to keep metal from rusting let alone lubricating. Even a farm store brand ISO 32 hyd. oil is probly more than twice as good.

I wouldn't use it in anything the TSC Premium brand hydraulic fluid is good and cheap why not just use that? Bargain oil and grease most times ain't a bargain in the long run.

Up on till Missouri took 303 out of the stores it is what I had run any all my tractors. But 303 is not sold in MO any more for some reason so I have had to switch to a different UTF and what I think is funny the different UTF comes in a 4.8 gal bucket due to having a handle on the bottom of the bucket for easy pouring. LOL

The term "303 oil" is basically meaningless. There are no enforced standards for it and it can be near anything. Subsequently, some oils sold as 303 might be okay and some others not. It is an unenforced and unchecked standard.

You don't need a HyTran or HyGuard type in the hydraulics on it if that's what you're asking.

Thanks to all for the replies. I also have a couple of buckets of UTF from the local farm store. Sounds like that will be sufficient.
