forgot to ask in other post-----does anyone know of a good part supplier for Holley dist. parts used in the 1650 tractors , need vac. adv. diaphram , flyweight springs & bushings , points & some other misc. parts ,to get this back to top order. thanks for any help

Korves now offers a brand new distributor that has tach drive to replace the holley and mallory dist. that those tractors used. I think they have a start up price of $230 till May 1st. This new dist. uses more readily available delco parts.

just checked there site $295 but out of stock , if i would have to go that route i would, but like to keep it original if i can , cost & getting parts is alway in consideration though , thanks

I don't think they update their site to often because the one they have listed is the Mallory that is not being made anymore. Here's pic of their add from latest Oliver Heritage.

thanks , i think ill be contacting them , i did contact mcdonald carb. no luck there either , so it looks like that new one is the way to go , hope it would proform the same as the holley being it dont have the vaccum advance

Will perform the same this one uses a set of fly weights inside to control the advance instead of vaccum diaphram. In my opinion mechanical advance is far better than vaccum advance.

the holley dist. had both vac. & flyweights , as long as i end up with 22 deg. full advance as it should be it wouldnt matter. i do think im going to go the rout of the new one from korves , let you all know how it works out , thanks for all the input

A.J. BOELLNER in Maumee Ohio is a good place to try...I'm amazed at what they have...I've also been amazed at what O'Reilly auto parts can get and often the best price, by a lot.
