Hello again, looking for more answers seems how searching comes up with many. On the 1950t what are the fluid capacities for the trans/rear end and also for the hydraulics and what is everyone running? Ive read 80/90 in the lower half and Atf in the upper but have also seen hydraulic fluid so Im abit confused. Also is the rear end drain under the draw bar and where are the check plugs and how do you fill the top half. Thanks in advance and also for the info, this is a great site.

This is what it listed in my book for capacitys(I&T manual not Oliver factory manual) so it could be different: final drive and transmission 51quarts. Use 80/90 gear oil. Hydraulic system is 20 quarts. Use AW32 Hyd. Oil. I have seen people use atf also but I prefer regular hyd. oil.

The drain plug for the final drive should be on the bottom of rear end housing near the draw bar, there maybe 3 different plugs one being a screen. Someone else may know that for sure. Should be able to fill at the top of pto housing. The hyd. Unit can be filled where the dipstick is located between your legs if sitting on the tractor. It can be emptied by using one of the remotes or there is a plug in the left side of the unit. The tractor can be run and attach a hose to pump fluid out at either spot.

Hope this helps. Factory manuals are available from a few different places. You can contact the Floyd county museum in Charles city Iowa. They should have all the manuals. Its a good investment...

Thanks for the info, the tractor isnt mine and I bought the service manual but couldnt find what I was looking for.
