Here's something to think about. Have a Oliver 1650 Diesel, John Deere 4020 Diesel, and Oliver 990 all stored in the end of a barn. During the winter I would start them and let them run for a while. There is only one door. When I let the 4020 or the 1650 run for a while the fumes and smoke was terrible, burns your eye, either one. Started the 990 by itself a couple weeks age and let it run for a while. When I went back in the barn there was very little smoke and hardly any fumes. The 2 cycle Detroits were taken of the market because of emissions. Makes a person wonder.
