Fixture for painting springs

I use this old end off a tie rod tube with all thread to paint extension springs. If you paint them in the relaxed state it always screws up the paint. Couple of pictures.

Yes its is, but I have the spray cans made up using my own acrylic enamel auto paint. Just leave out the hardener unless you use the whole can the same day. A little pricey, but it sure works good for small items.

Ok that what I was wondering. I was thinking about doing that also to paint a few parts when needed. Do you get like 6 cans or so mixed at one time? That's what we do at work for touch ups and such on school busses.

Pretty sharp eye Rich. That is a replacement manifold for a 656 diesel that I am overhauling, the manifold off of it was cracked in 2 places. Think that green paint would make it run better?

I used this preval sprayer to do some touch up work on a project using the same paint that I used earlier in the paint gun and was real happy with the results and it was easy to clean up and use again later. It looks to be another option to what you guys were talking about getting spray cans mixed up.
