66 rocker arm assembly

I changed the pan and rocker cover on an engine I bought. One of the rocker studs came out. I put it back in with a lock washer but when I had it all buttoned up I found a copper washer. Is it supposed to go on the rocker hold down?
Also under the pan there is a M62 stamped. Anyone know what that means?

(quoted from post at 19:46:01 03/06/18) I'd think the copper washer would be on the valve cover outside. That's where MH Continental engines use copper washers.
Yep. A friend looked it up and found that's where it went. I only found 1. I have always used flat washers but when I put it on there wasn't enough room so all it got is nuts.
Still curious about the M62 stamp.
