I?ve got a White 2-70. I?m working on the 3-point. It?s got internal valve hydraulics. I replaced the hyd. pump and reinstalled the hyd. lift cover. And when I went to start the tractor, the 3 point arms went up on there own. The control lever for the 3 point seems like it might not have full travel, but not sure. I had to disconnect the control linkage form the pilot spool in the Servo valve to remove the cylinder. I?m wondering if something is wrong with the linkage...
Since finding out that the 3 point arms raise on there own I?ve remvoed the internal valve control unit and taken out the Servo valance assembly. I removed all the valves from it. Nothing appeared to be stuck so I reassembled hoping that maybe it would solve the problem. But I reinstalled it, and started up the tractor. Exact same thing. Tractor starts, and almost immediately the arms raise on their own to max height. If I put the 3 point control arm in the down position, the arms won?t go down. But I can push them down a couple of inches. I feel like somethings not right with the linkage for the pilot spool. But not sure.
Thanks for reading.
